Over 1,000 gallons of a mix of diesel and heating oil could not be recovered when the accident first occurred. Read More...Beacon was awarded a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment investigation of the former Maine Resources Tannery facility in Brooks, Maine by the Maine DEP. Beacon investigated a former landfill, former lagoons and the area around the former factory using Geoprobe direct push technology. Once analytical results are obtained, Beacon will develop a Feasibility Study to deal with any impacts on the property to assist the small town with potential redevelopment.
