Approximately 4 pounds of elemental Mercury was accidentally released to a basement when a bottle was dropped on the floor. Read More...Beacon completed a Soil and Erosion Control Plan and soil sampling prior to the blasting and repainting of two bridges in Yarmouth, Maine on behalf of a painting contractor. The Maine DOT had special requirements based on the two bridges being located over the Pleasant River. Sampling was performed using a hand auger and once the project is done, Beacon will go out and collect post painting samples to determine if lead impacts occurred during this phase of the work.
